So today I'm going to share a little trick I learned on the interwebs. I forget where I read it but I've been meaning to do it for a while and finally did!

Yup, that's a cute baby and a table that I thought was ruined with water spots. We should use coasters but we don't. When I actually remember to use them, they get chewed on or thrown across the room like a frisbee. So after a while our table ended up with lots of spots. Yuck.
Then I remember the trick I saw a while back. First, spray water onto the table.
Next lay a cotton towel or rag down on over the spot and iron on medium heat. Keep the iron moving so you don't burn the table. I checked it every once in a while to see how it was doing. You can spray more water if you need, and iron again to get a spot you've missed.
And this is what you end up with:
Magic! And there's no photoshoppery here. Just a nice looking table!
I'm so happy to have been able to fix it! What have you fixed lately so you didn't have to toss it in the trash? I love not having to re-buy when there's such an easy fix!
